Which came first the artist or the art?
"Creation was a nice try. It kept a lot of great minds occupied for centuries but it never
quite cut it as a dimension. Simply put, they had the word slightly off... They said
“creation” when they meant “creativity.” The fifth dimension is, indeed, an omniscient
force of ultimate authority and power. Not a God who has supreme power over the
universe, but the power within each of us to create our own universe."
Art is evidence of the fifth dimension?
"Space is the canvas, and matter the paint from which we create our reality. Time is simply a
venue for practicing and enjoying the process of creating, not a rigid obstacle standing
between the artist and his art."
But if there is life after birth, and art mimics life, then from afterbirth came Aleatoric Art?
"Many openings ago when modern art was still in its pregnancy, the artist, succumbing to a
change of Cezànne or Pollack in the air, could sneeze on canvas, make headlines and call it a
portrait. Like a kid in a Kandinsky store, the artist could Picasso his nose and the face of art
was remolded like Klee. To err is human... To err on canvas is art: The artist may drink for
inspiration but he must spill the drink for innovation."
And we are all the same artist
"Art need only change its context to be new: The lost art of found art is lost where the art
is found... What is so elusive about true genius is that it doesn't exist until it is given the
chance it doesn't yet deserve."
