We are In Focus Photography Inc. of Houston, Texas, and have been doing preschool photography in Houston since 1989. Our company has the best reputation,
product, service and fundraiser in town. Below you will find a simple breakdown of our normal procedures.
On Picture Day we photograph every child in the center, and the kids are all ready for picture day because your staff has displayed and distributed the promotional
materials we have provided in advance. Over the years, along with his photo-related studies, our founder has learned much about the psychology of preschool
photography and his interaction with children, and has become very good at a very difficult job. Kids can’t wait for “Mr. Funny” to come to the school on picture
day, and his routine is so entertaining, he is able to get 99 out of 100 kids to give him a great, natural looking smile. We are able to photograph up to 180 kids in 3
hours with great results, and be packed up and gone by lunchtime. No other photographer can do that. (This is a great help to the staff, when you realize how
much of lunch gets on the shirt and not in the tummy.) To insure a flawless final product, we edit every photo and retouch boo-boos and other gross stuff that we
won’t mention here. We don’t mind if Mom’s bring siblings from other schools on picture day, as long as they don’t “help” too much! Mister Funny does not bring
an assistant… all he needs is one staff member to keep the classes coming, and for the teachers to make sure every face is clean and shiny!
We do natural looking seasonal outdoor backgrounds that are changed spring and fall each year. We use simple props and poses for a more natural and
uncluttered look, and don’t dress kids up or try to be hairstylists. We like kids to look like kids! You can see samples of our work online.. just call us for the link at

Sales are a breeze Our polite and courteous sales staff will bring top quality packages of every pose to the center 2 weeks after picture day. The packages are in
clear sleeves and are laid out on our tables so that parents can walk right up and grab their photos and bring them to a salesperson. There are 2 poses of each
child, and additional sibling photos, and in each package, there are 1-8x10, 1-5x7, 4-4x5’s, and 4 large wallets of each pose. The photos are sold by the sheet
(parents are not expected to buy set packages), and this has been extremely successful for us. They do not fill out any order forms and we do not take down
names, they just write a check or use their debit/credit card (all cards accepted) and take their photos home… Easy and fast, with no traffic jams. The parents
love the photos, and we actually email them the jpg files and a copyright release for $20 when they want reorders. Prices are from $19 up to $64 for an entire 6
sheet package. Teachers photos are free and their kids packages are half price. Owner, Director and Asst. Director’s packages are free, and most importantly, our
fundraiser cannot be beat…

since the very beginning of In Focus) do individual pictures spring and fall, and in the off season (Dec-Jan), do class photos which sell for $10 in a cute school bus
folder. We generally see a 90% sell-through on this item. The good part about this fundraiser is that YOU GET THE WHOLE TEN DOLLARS. That’s right, if you have
150 kids, you can make $1500 with this fundraiser. That comes out to a huge boost in photo related revenue, and class photos are something you have to do
anyway… might as well rake in a big profit from it!
Their Plan is usually a percentage of the gross after cost of sales. Let us be honest, preschool photos sell at an average 30 dollars per child, so in a school with 150
kids, we make $4500 in sales, and it costs us $1500 to produce the packages. At 10%, You would get a commission of about $300.
Our Plan nets you around $1200, using a conservative, historic estimate… No math, no sales and expense figures, no complicated coupon structures, just 10 bucks
a kid. Just display the easels in the lobby and watch as folks start unloading ten dollar bills onto your desk!
